Piano Tuning - $125

• Includes minor voicing, minor/quick repairs, and partial bushing treatment if needed.

Pitch Raise - $125 (per visit) 

• If the piano cannot be brought up all the way to A 440 Hz, multiple tunings will be needed to bring the piano back up to pitch. Everything included in a standard tuning will be included in a pitch raise. For an in-depth explanation, please see the more information section at the top of the page.

Cleaning - $125 for the first hour, $75 for every subsequent hour

• The total price for a cleaning is subject to change based on the condition of the piano and level of service a client desires. Some of the service includes: dusting of the soundboard, polishing of all metal hardware, vacuuming under the keys, and steel wool across the strings to make them shinier and give a brighter tone (requires a tuning). If a tuning is included, it will be $125 plus $75 per additional hour (charged in 30 minute increments).

String Replacement - $125 for the first hour, $75 for every subsequent hour, cost of string

• ZORP PIANO TUNING DOES NOT OFFER FULL STRING REPLACEMENTS AT THIS TIME. Multiple strings may be replaced during one appointment if needed. Bass strings need to be custom made for specific pianos, it may take a couple of weeks for the new string to come in. The following is a rough estimate for how much single strings could cost:

  • • Bass Strings - $30/string (+ shipping)

    • Treble Strings - $10/string

• If a string breaks, especially a bass string, it will help our technicians if you keep the string so we can save time during the appointment. String Replacement may also be bundled with a Standard Tuning and/or Cleaning. With a tuning, it will be $160 plus $75 per additional hour, plus the cost of string. For String Replacement and Cleaning, it will be $130 plus $50 per additional hour, plus the cost of string.
